Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine may be behind federal prison walls, but his business is still moving. According to TMZ, he inked a distribution deal with "Create Music Group" to release his project almost immediately after it leaked earlier in the week. An emergency chess move, it paid off. Today the "Dummy Boy" album is at the top of iTunes sales charts according to PopVortex.
Official streams count has not been released however. What is known, each 1500 views and streams on iTunes and other services is the digital age's equivalence to 1 record sold. Sales numbers for the project will be strong overall based on it's being #1 in 7 countries on iTunes ( see here ) and close to 100 million plays on YouTube.
The Dummy Boy album has not yet penetrated the45illboard rap music charts, which will be updated later to included 6ix9ine's sales. There's usually a full week of sales before an album gets ranked against others.
